A friend of mine sold me for sacrifice once- Mr Ibu Reveals
Mr  Ibu
Nigerian comedy king, John Okafor more commonly known as Mr. Ibu has revealed for the first time he once escaped an attempt by his friend to have him killed for sacrifice.

Mr. Ibu who was a special guest on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Starr 103.5FM Wednesday said although he was already sold out by this friend, he managed to escape by the “Help of God.

“This is something I haven’t spoken about anywhere,” he told Bola Ray.

“A friend of mine sold me for sacrifice once. I was just there and they were calling price over my head like that. Speaking in their local language thinking I wouldn’t understand but I understood everything.”

Ibu said the incident happened somewhere in 1979, before he started acting.

The Nollywood actor is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters.

His humorous acting is often characterised by stupidity, hilarious imbecility and a sharp disconnection from reality.

He was born on 17 October 1961.

Okafor is married with seven children and has said he would do anything for his family.

According to him, he considered selling off his kidney to save his family when they were all kidnapped by armed men.

Hanks Anuku
I hope you have not forgotten this actor, Hanks Anuku. According to reports, he infected his wife with HIV/AIDS after he knew that he had the disease. The actor in an interview in Nigeria said he had the disease when he traveled from Nigeria to Zambia somewhere in April 2011 to teach about HIV and AIDS without his wife and two kids.
According to him “I got tested while I was in Zambia after one of my girlfriends advised me about her pregnancy. She had gone for pregnancy tests and during that time she was tested for HIV and the results was shocking, she was positive. She forced me to get tested but I could not come to terms with the results. After I got tested I came back to Zimbabwe and I kept quiet about the issue. I never told my wife about the issue. I infected her but I regret. I later on received some counseling and it well well,”

“During my peak of popularity I had sex with approximately 80 women, within Harare and Zambia. In 2002 it was so amazing to be on TV. I abused the fame. To make matters worse I lacked counseling and I failed to handle it properly, leaving me in this mud. I am now a born again Christian with UFIC under the guidance of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.”
