French groom holds traditional Chinese wedding with his Chinese bride.
French man married his Chinese girlfriend in Binzhou, Shandong Province, in a traditional Chinese wedding, in order to experience Chinese culture.
The groom rode on horseback and greeted passersby in traditional hand gesture while wearing a scholar’s robe, which traditionally belonged to the winner of the imperial examination. He tied a red silk flower on his chest and wore a red gauze cap on his head.
The Chinese bride sat in the bright red wedding sedan, which was crowded by the groom’s huge procession. The typical traditional Chinese wedding drew hundreds of local residents to watch.
